Careers, not cadetships.

Too many cadet programs leave people doing repetitive tasks, like laptop refurbishing, without building real IT knowledge or a clear career path. Dreamtime AI exists to change that.

02 /The Dreamtime SAMU Cultural Program

Samu (cassowary) is my totem. I chose it because it is a spiritual guidance to my people. When you look at the nature of the animal, it's protective towards its young chicks, nurturing and teaches their offspring.

What makes this concept particularly important to me is the cultural component.

A proposed program, starting with a 90-day pilot.

Two learning streams

  • Cultural

    Learning directly from Senior Cultural Elders and Traditional Owners about ancestral heritage, traditional lore, Dreaming stories, spiritual values, cultural art and connection to Country.

    On Country (monthly)

    Local ecosystems, traditional hunting and gathering, bush foods and traditional cooking.

  • Technical

    AI applications, website development, digital business solutions, automation and other emerging technologies, applied to real business projects.

Where the streams meet

Participants use technology to explore their cultural origins and create culturally approved digital educational projects.

AI Associates

Participants are called AI Associates. They gain practical AI skills, exposure to emerging technologies, and the chance to work on real business projects.

The 90-day pilot

3–5 AI Associates. Four goals.

  1. GOAL 01Test the training model.
  2. GOAL 02Build relationships with cultural educators.
  3. GOAL 03Identify industry partners.
  4. GOAL 04Demonstrate measurable outcomes.

Commercial pathway

AI Associates gain supervised experience delivering digital services to Indigenous businesses and community organisations, creating potential revenue and future employment pathways.

People

People build skills through training and cultural programs, then contribute to client work. They bring human judgement, usability feedback and unexpected ways of testing.

AI agents

AI agents handle certain tasks at greater speed and scale.

We won't create another long-running cadet program that goes nowhere.

    Human testers and AI-assisted testing, side by side.
